Profiles and conversations with nurses, teachers, union representatives, entrepreneurs, artists, parents, researchers, politicians and people whose job title does not fit neatly into an expert panel.
Ideas
What should society pay for? Who holds power at work? Can the welfare state survive ageing, climate change and new technology? This is where we argue with evidence and admit when the evidence ruins a beautiful opinion.
Culture
Food, books, design, television, music, cities and everyday rituals. Culture is not the soft section after the serious news. It is where people decide who belongs and what a good life looks like.
Greenland
Stories involving Greenland must include Greenlandic knowledge and agency. We will not reduce the country to ice, minerals, military strategy or Danish feelings about colonial history.
Oddly Danish
About ten percent nonsense, exactly as promised: cultural collisions, quizzes, unnecessary rankings and urgent investigations into why adults bring their own cake to work on their birthday.
Opinion—with the label still attached
DENMARK.GL has a point of view. Opinion pieces will be clearly marked, arguments will link to evidence, and disagreement will not be edited into fake neutrality. We can support the Danish Model without pretending every Danish decision deserves applause.
